1 Massive Mistake Women With PCOS Make That Keep Them Feeling Fat And Masculine

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a major health problem for millions of women around our globe. And the signs and symptoms can be devastating. Elevated testosterone, excess fat, and compromised insulin sensitivity are not only issues in PCOS, they are significant drivers.

How can you change this?

Check this out…

This research didn’t include calorie or carbohydrate counting (that’s a relief, I bet!), and allowed participants to eat until content. Yes, no starvation diets in sight.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome research reveals the benefits of restricting dairy.

These approaches won’t just help you to conquer your PCOS naturally, they will absolutely help you to live longer and prevent deadly diseases. Now that’s wonderful news!

Previous studies have shown cheese to be less insulinemic than other dairy products, thus, cheese was allowed in restricted amounts to aid in dietary compliance. The diet excluded all grains, beans, other dairy products, and sugar (including fruit juice from concentrate, raw turbinado sugar, evaporated cane juice, high fructose corn honey, agave, or syrup nectar) because of their insulinemic properties.”

Dairy in PCOS?

Dairy in PCOS?

A recent article in the Journal of Obesity and Weight Loss Therapy by Phy et al, looked at the effects of an 8-week intervention using a low starch, low dairy food plan on 24 obese and overweight women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

It’s perfect for a woman with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome! It has helped me to personally, permanently shed 27 kg and conquer my PCOS signs and symptoms, and has worked all but magically for many of my clients.

I know many women have been told ‘just slim down’ But, if you have PCOS, you’ll understand it’s not often that simple! The underlying insulin resistance unhelpfully makes excess weight notoriously hard to lose, and easy to return.

The wonderful news is, there’s investigation being done in this field. Exciting and very interesting investigation.

I’ve been advocating low glycaemic index, gluten and dairy free for a long while now. This is an evidence based approach for addressing elevated testosterone, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome weight loss and addressing insulin resistance.

This study showed that a simple and short intervention resulted in “weight loss, a reduction in waist circumference, and body fat loss in an overweight and obese PCOS population. This diet also led to improvements in insulin sensitivity … and a reduction in total and free testosterone in women with PCOS.”

Enjoy!
